Monotheism or Paganism

Can we worship deities as per Paganism or Can we worship God alone as per Monotheism?

Paganism worships deities/wants. Monotheism instructs acceptance, not expectation.

Paganism worships expectations/wants/deities. Paganists say deities are important, they represent God, they execute duties on behalf of God, they are like postman who hand over the parcel to you from God. So you have to create rapport with postman(deities), so you will get your parcel promptly.

Monotheist says postman delivers the parcel only and when/if God sends you parcel. If God does not send you parcel, then whatever rapport you have with postman, nothing will be delivered. Postman does not send and deliver parcel on his own, if God sends parcel to you, postman has to deliver it to you even if you don’t have rapport with him.

So, it is not mandatory to worship a postman(deity).

Deities are like your immediate supervisor who administers you, recommend you to Super Boss for hike/promotion/increasing provisions. Super Boss knows about you and your performance, your needs, your wants. Super Boss does not depend on deities to know about you. HE knows you. What Super Boss approves, immediate supervisor will deliver them to you. Immediate superviser will not deliver anything to you which is not approved by Super Boss.

It is upto you to whether create rapport or not with deities.

I will not create rapport with deities. I am a Monotheist.

Dynamic World

Our world is dynamic, inhabitants of earth are changing every second, earth is changing every second.

If we take snapchat of the world every second, then no snapshot will look like other snapshots.

Around the clock our body is changing. Our body is not the same as the previous second. Our body cells are dying every second, new cells are born  every second. We don’t sense the birth and death of cells, so we don’t have any emotions over the life of cells.

Every second, there are controlled and uncontrolled changes happening in our body. There are intentional and unintentional activities in our body. Can we say these changes/activities are happening by a disciplined law or by irregular chaos? Are cellular and organ level activities happening by code of conduct or random behaviors/responses?

Our body changes/activities are by law. It looks like random changes/behaviors, but it is actually by well disciplined law. There are many cellular level activities  which we cannot feel/sense,  but they are happening every second. We cannot say nothing is happening at cellular level, because we don’t or can’t feel it. Can these cellular activities be randomly driven? No, it is by a rule or law, which we can’t or don’t understand.

We cannot say, no law governing us because we don’t know about it. Law exists even if we don’t understand the law. “I don’t know” is not an excuse to law.

In the same way, if you take the earth or world as a functioning body and every living being is it’s cells, there are countless infinite cellular and organ level changes happening every second. Every second many cells are dying and many cells are born. They happen by a disciplined law. It looks like world is changing randomly, but it is not. It is changing by a law, not by chaos.

There are human activities, animal activities, plants activities, fish activities, insects activities, worm activities, sea activities, river activities, changes in water bodies, earth activities, bacteria and virus activities, and many many activities happening every second in world. Is all happening out of randomness or by law. It is a law,  a discipline is governing all activities.

We do not know the driving force behind the changes/activities, but changes are driven.

The world is dynamic and this dynamic nature is driven and governed by a divine dynamic discipline.

Ownership Reviews are Important

I am a motorcycle enthusiastic. I owned multiple motorcycles with a desire to ride in highway and long distance touring. Without knowledge about bikes, I used commuter and sports bike to tour in highway, but they did not match highway requirement. I tried this and that. Later I gained knowledge about different motorcycles and their purpose made for. Then I bought a touring bike, which is very comfortable, confident inspiring and fatigue free, able to cruise long hours in highway. I tried different bikes, spending money, spending time, spending energy to understand about motorcycles/bikes.

I bought a small, light weight, low powered city car, but drive it mostly in highway. There is a difference between what we need and what we want. Moreover, we have to choose our vehicle based on what is available in the market and what is affordable. The affordable, available do not match with our want. What matches with our want/need is different from what is available, affordable, and popular or highly selling. First we should have clarity on what we need and what we want. Then we have to choose a vehicle which matches with our want/need. This require knowledge and guidance. You need know about vehicle and it’s purpose made for. This is where ownership reviews after certain years of usage, helps you a lot.

A rev friendly, light weight, agile, powerful sports bike is good in city roads and streets. But it will not be a best fit in highway or long distance touring. For highway and long distance touring, a heavy weight bike, with surplus torque will match. But it may not be fit in city roads and streets. I bought a sport bike and worried why it was shaky or wobbling in highway. I bought a heavy weight cruiser and worried why it was not easy to ride it in city roads and streets. Lack of awareness about what we want/need and lack of knowledge about what vehicles matches with our want/need is leading to confusion, frustration, waste of money, waste of time, waste of energy.

Cost of maintenance vary from segment to segment – commuter, premium commuter, sports bike, street fighter, cruiser, super bikes differ in their maintenance cost. Don’t regret at maintenance expense after owning a vehicle either new or used.

Either new or old, purchasing a motorcycle or vehicle is very easy nowadays as you will get loan sanctioned. But the challenge is awaiting at servicing or maintaining it. Authorised Service Centers or Local mechanics…which bike is easy to get serviced will keep you cool. Maintenance and Servicing, spare parts availability will make lot of difference in ownership experience. You may ready to spend, but no guarantee that, your vehicle will be serviced properly. You have to rely on “belief, faith, reputation, luck” in this section.

You can tour on any bike. This is a popular, but wrong statement. This is a false notion and not adhering with safety. You should tour on proper bike made for touring, not any bike.

So I thought ownership reviews dedicated to spread/share knowledge about bikes, cars, bicycles, automobiles, will help the buyers to understand what they want, and what matches their want.

Pulsar NS 160 Ownership review

I purchased Pulsar NS 160 last year. I have clocked around 5000 kms till date. Mostly high way rides. I have shared my ownership review with pulsar ns 160 comparing with my previous bikes. Here is my experience.

Shell City Ride oil change to Pulsar NS160

I recently changed Shell oil (city ride) to my pulsar NS160. The bike runs smoothly now, looks like low end torque/punch improved a bit. Oil cost me 599 rupees when I purchased.

After thrashing my bike to cruise at 100 km/hr in highway continuously during my last highway ride, I noticed some roughness in engine. Moreover, service interval/due time also arrived. So I approached service center for servicing the bike. But, the service center where I regularly give my bike for servicing, was too busy with other bikes, they were not able to attend my bike for the next few weeks or month so.

So I decided to change oil at least. Let my bike run in new oil until service center guys called me for regular service. So I went to Shell petrol bunk near my home, They showed me two types of oil, City Ride, and Shell Advance. Shell Advance is for racing performance. City Ride oil is for city ride. I am not going to ride above 80 km/hr, so I do not need Shell Advance. I purchased Shell City Ride oil one liter costing 599 rupees.

The staff at petrol pump drained old bajaj oil from my bike and poured new oil.

Then I took the bike to highway and ride at 80 km/hr speed. The roughness of the engine got cleared, and bike becomes butter smooth. My Pulsar NS160 glided smoothly with new oil in highway in moderate speed(80 km/hr).

Now, the problem is lubing bike chain. Chain is lubed during regular service. Now service center is not able to attend my bike, my bike’s chain is dry and dirty. I am doubting whether any road side mechanic will do Chain lubing alone, not full service. Full service, I will do with Service Center once they resume their business.

I am going to enquire with my nearest street mechanic for Chain lubing alone. If they agree, then I will have cleaned and lubed my bike’s chain. Let us see.

Practice, Repeat, Habit – NS 160 Comfortable cruising at 80KM/HR

Nowadays, I am able to comfortably cruise around 80 KM/HR speed in Highway, When I purchased the bike, initially, I feared to ride at 80 km/hr speed. My body and mind was so tense at those speeds. I thought my comfortable speed is around 50km/hr.

But years of repeated riding in highway, gradually increased my comfort zone in speed. I was comfortable around 70 km/hr for a while. That time I thought 70 was the safe speed. I continued to ride at 70 km/hr in highways. Without my effort, now my comfortable cruising is around -80+ km/hr in highway. I am bored at 60 / 70 km/hr speed now.

Initially, I thought 50 km/hr speed is my limitation both physically and psychologically. But years of repeated riding improved my limitation. Now I am thinking to upgrade to 300CC or 250CC bike to cruise at 100 or 120 km/hr speed in highway. But due to safety measures, I consciously nullify my desire to upgrade higher capacity bikes, I confine myself to cruise at -80+ km/hr speed in highway. Let it be my comfortable speed. Moreover, that is the legal speed limit in highway in India as on date. Respect the law.

I do not want to push myself to cruise at 100+ km/hr speed, though I can practice, repeat, and make it a habit to become comfortable at those speeds both physically and mentally. Non-fenced or no-barrier Indian highways are not safe at such speed even though I can be comfortable and confident at those speeds.

I do not say You are safe at 80 km/hr speed and you are at risk at 100+ kn/hr speed. You can reach your destination at any speed. Accident can happen at any speed. Even at 40 km/hr, accident can happen. Even, when you are walking, some vehicle may hit you. While walking you may skid or slip. We can not say walking is risk. ( Example : https://www.businesstoday.in/latest/corporate/story/ahmedabad-parag-desai-wagh-bakri-tea-groups-executive-director-passes-away-at-49-due-to-accident-402952-2023-10-23 )

God controls life and death.

I have realized that by practice, repeat and making habit, provided God willing – we can master anything. If I sold out the NS160 when I purchased it, I would have been riding within my limitation – that is 50km/hr in highway. I continued to ride NS160 at 60 few months, then gradually my riding speed increased to 70 and now I cruise at -80+ km/hr in NS160 in highway. It took overall 2.5 years to get out of my limitation. Now I am confident, I can experience 100+ km/hr speed too comfortably provided God willing. But I do not want, and I do not have money to afford for new bike now financially.

We can acquire any skill, knowledge by practice -> repeat -> habit <- provided God willing. I learnt this out of my biking experience with Pulsar NS160.

My sub-conscious mind is re-programmed to cruise at -80+ km/hr speed comfortably both physically and mentally by “practice, repeat, habit, God willing”.

Can we kickstart Pulsar NS160 BS6 with a Dead Battery?

Can we kickstart a Pulsar NS160 BS6(Fuel Injection – FI) with a dead battery?

NS160 comes with a kicker even though it has FI – Fuel Injection. When starter motor has problem or push button (self start) has problem, then you can use kicker to start the bike provided battery in good condition.

FI – Fuel Injection and it is controlled by ECU – both require steady current/voltage from battery to function. If there is no current/electricity from battery to Fuel Injector or ECU from battery, then you can not start the bike using self start and kicker and manual push start. Nothing works with a dead battery to BS6 motorcycle including NS160 BS6.

Sometime, battery may be low and it may not have enough current to rotate starter motor/self start, but battery has some low power which is enough to function the FI and ECU. In such case, you can use kicker to start the bike temporarily. You should replace new battery soon.

In short, as long as steady sufficient current flows from battery to function FI and ECU, you can use either self start, kicker, manual push start – whatever is working. If the battery is dead, no current from battery to FI and ECU, then nothing will start BS6 motorcycles.

BS6 or Fuel Injection – FI motorcycles need a good battery to start even with kickstarter. Kickstarter is an alternate to self start, but not an alternate to battery.

We can not kickstart Pulsar NS160 BS6 FI with a Dead Battery

Pulsar NS160 – Problems after 2 years

Government should ban all motorcycle reviews or ownership reviews which are given earlier to 2 years from purchasing the bike. Reviews after 2 to 3 years of purchase should be allowed and true. Review at brand new condition should be punished and stopped by government. Too early reviews misleading the buyers.

Motorcycle’s original build quality is exposed after 2 to 3 years of usage. We should give review afterwards.

My pulsar ns 160, did not give any problem till two years or warranty period got over. Afterwards, clutch or clutchplate having issue. bringing bike to neutral gear is very difficult. Low end torque and low end pickup got reduced or not upto newness state.

Some tuk tuk sound from vehicle when riding over bumbs and pits with pillion.

Engine turned off automatically in slow speed some time, annoying issue. Engine RPM reduces below 1000rpm and engine turned of automatically some times in slow speed in traffic, need to rev a bit to prevent engine off in traffic or slow speed.

Gear shift is must in low speed or tung tung sound from engine appears.

Rusting in fuel inner cap, water logging during raining season around inner fuel cap.

Many time, engine malfunction light glows, do not know what to do, Some time the light goes off automatically after 1 or 2 days, sometime it is taking more time. Is Bajaj experienced enough to make motorcycle with Fuel Injection, I dont know.

There is sag in mono suspension. When the bike was brand new, I had to tip toe the bike while in stationary. Now, after two years, I am flat footing while in stationary. Mono suspension is sagged a bit. My body weight is same for the last two years.

I am giving my bike to Authorised Service Center every 3 months before the due date. So, far my bike has clocked 11000 kms only in 2 years of ownership.

I am getting frustration with these problems. Engine performance reduced from newness state after 2 years. Regular service is not preventing problems. Service Centers do regular periodical checks only. They do not pay attention to specific problems. For specific problems we have to depend on local mechanic to fix it.

I still love my bike’s(NS160) performance above 5000 rpm or above 60 km/hr speed. 60 to 70, 70 to 80, 80 to 90 km/hr speed in my bike is still awesome and entertaining. I cruise at 70 to 80 km/hr in highway, that feeling is superup. Bike’s midrange in highway is still thrilling. I go to highway weekly once or twice and ride my bike in highway for 2 to 3 hours… Absolute Blast, Enthralling. If your restrict your highway cruising speed around -80+ km/hr, then this bike is more than sufficient. Still in-gear acceleration is adrenaline surge. Look of this bike is appealing as “Definitely Male” tagging of pulsars. That is the reason, I still keep this bike with me, otherwise I would have sold/thrown it in second hand market like I sold Discover 150F within 2 years from purchase.

Biking culture is at its peak in India, Bikers are conscious about their bike too much. They see every problem through a lens. Bike manufactures should understand the bikers mind, and build bikes with at most quality and train, equip Authorized Service Centers.

My previous motorcycle honda shine, was serviced at local mechanic, for three and half years, it did not irritate me at any point of time. There were problems occurred, but they were sorted out by local mechanics then and there. I did not give honda shine to Authorized Service Center after free services exhausted.

I am hesitating to give my BS6 ns160 to local mechanic, since it is FI and having engine/FI malfunction sensor, which can not be turned off by local mechanic. Moreover, I assume, BS6 engine oil is different from BS4 engine, I just assume, but I may be wrong too. So I am hesitating. But, I am pretty sure, local mechanic can service the bike better than Service centers because local mechanic pay attention to specific problems apart from regular checking. I am going to enquire my local mechanic whether is he able to maintain BS6 motorcycle with FI. If he accepts, then I will give the bike to him for servicing henceforth.

Before, purchasing NS160, I was in dilemma as whether to buy Hornet 2.0 or NS 160. Then I purchased NS160. Now I feel that, I should have purchased a bike from Honda based on my experience with Shine.

If I am buying next bike, then definitely it will not be from Bajaj stock based on my timely tested experience from Discover 150F and NS160. If anybody ask my suggestion as which bike to purchase, I would say avoid Bajaj based on my timely tested, costly experience with Bajaj bikes.

Honda means, more money, but peace of mind. Bajaj means less money, but no peace of mind, provided performance guaranteed. Your choice… money or peace of mind or performance at affordable price.

In the last two years, I enjoyed performance from NS160, it is enough. Now I want peace of mind – Honda Shine.

Update : 19-01-2023 : Today, Gear shifting became very hard and many false neutrals while riding the bike. Few times gear change is not engaging. It became difficult to ride the bike. I took the bike to Authorized Service Center. They checked the bike and replaced new Clutch cable, costing 434 rupees including labor charge. Now gears are smoothly engaging like a new bike. I am happy now.

Datsun Redi Go car cold start problem and Stress

God, I purchased Datsun Redi Go car in 2020 march BS IV version. When whole India is going behind Maruthi Suzuki, Hyundai, and Tata for cars, I purchased Redi-Go from Nissan.

The car has cold start problem in winter season. Fuel pump is not getting on when ignition is on. I have to crank few times or wait for 5 to 10 minutes to let the the fuel pump on and start the car.

I complained this problem to Nissan Service Center. They changed new battery. The cold start problem persists even after changing to new battery. Service center is not able to resolve the problem, I have to live with it.

I lost confidence with this car. When I am going for long trip, what will I do if the car does not start.

Due to this sort of cold start problem or delayed/no fuel pump startup, I am hesitating taking this car out.

Next, problem is I lost interest to drive the car in Chennai city traffic. Especially my area saligramam(arcot road), where metro train works are busily being done, roads are closed or diverted. Heavy traffic at Vadapalani signal, where i usually get out. Forum mall(cinema), Vijaya hospital, High rise apartment near by Vadapalani signal, Kamala theatre, Greenpark are creating heavy traffic at Vadapalani signal. Who or which authority gave permission to construct all at a chicken neck. Try driving from Porur to Kodambakkam in a Saturday evening around 6pm.

Abusali street, Kaveri street, and streets leading to Koyembedu from Saligramam are digged out by various authorities for various reasons. Cars can not go comfortably, cars have to snail through narrow or narrowed streets. My other way to get out also distorted.

Next, I am ready to drive car from Chennai to Rameshwaram, but I am not ready to use my car to go to T.Nagar for shopping.

Next problem, unnecessary fight or argument between my wife and myself. My wife wants to go to T.Nagar, movies, receptions, malls, Koyembedu vegetable market, Dmart, grocery shops in car. She does not know driving. So I have to drive the car.

Whenever, she ask for a trip in car, I am always reluctant, i hesitate to take the car out. Imagine, how it would be , if your car is not starting or delaying to start, when you parked your car in movie theatre parking. Cars behind you will be honking when you keep trying to start your car.

Due to cold start problem and city traffic, i always avoid taking car out, but my wife shout out me for not using the car or not helping her going out comfortably.

Next, I am paying monthly EMI for car loan. The car has not been fully utilized or half or ever quarter or bit. It is always parked in parking, but monthly EMI has to be paid duly.

My sister has Alto 800 and my uncle has Alto K10. They have these cars for more than 10 years. I used those cars extensively for long trips across Tamilnadu. Winter, raining or whatever season – i never had starting trouble or cold start problem from those cars. Engine comes to life at a single crank. I am obsessed with cold start problem of my car.

I purchased car for going to office – commuting. But, the 2nd day after I purchased the car, lockdown announced in March 2020. Since then, I am in work from home, no need to take the car out on day to day basis. As on date(21-8-2022) I am writing this, I am in work from home, no need of car for commuting.

Moreover, Nissan stopped production and sales of Datsun Redi Go cars in India. Service, support, spare parts are at question now.

Agonies of car are, Cold start problem or fuel pump not starting promptly, difficulty in driving the car in city traffic, arguments and yelling from wife, car is not utilized, paying EMI for car loan which has not been used, need to purchase insurance and do periodical service for car which is always in stationary at parking.

I have even published a youtube review (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDBykto2CFc) for this car in a praising note. That was a Sin. Influencing others to buy a product, publishing ownership review when the product is brand new are Sins. God, you punished me for my sin. I do not know, how many people are influenced by my review to buy this car. I will never give review to any product henceforth. God, you give different experience to different people for same product. We should not justify our experience with the product is the rule of thumb and the same will be experienced by others. That type of justification is wrong and sin. Same product will give different experience to different people at God’s will.

God, you should have prevented me from buying a car. I guess, You may like to deduct my bad karma, by letting me have bad experiences and grievances and stress. Its okay.
