Importance of playing and having fun in life.

From childhood to college days, we play, have fun during our free time. But when we go to job, or after becoming adult we stop playing.

Playing and having fun are vital for healthy and happy life both mentally and physically. During childhood our mind is filled with games and fun. During adulthood our mind is filled with tensions and problems. We do not satisfy with what we have in hand. We keep searching something. Never ending search. We do not have time to play. Neglect playing and having fun. We leave them as they are kiddies activity.

Play, having fun, laugh are like antibodies to prevent tensions, fear, stress of adulthood life. While playing we forget everything, mind is free from all, which are unnecessarily hooked with our mind. You can experience the body in full action only if you have fun and play.

Ignore all your urges, throw away your fears and tension, create friends to play, have fun, laugh like mad. Suddenly you will be relieved from the past and the future and you will be in pleasureful present.

Having fun in life and playing may slow down the aging process.

Opportunities in Recession

Psychologist have good opportunity during recession. There is boom in depression, suicidal attempts/victims, frustration among jobless people. Doctors have to do their business in full swing to attend the recession stimulated mental patients.

Cell phone sales is not slowed down during recession, instead it may be increasing. Cell Phone Servicing will have high demand and job openings irrespective of recession. Learn Cell phone servicing and become a cell phone technician. Mobile phone industry is not affected in recession.

Sales jobs are always having openings irrespective of recession. Those who lost their ‘sitting job’ can try out a sales job, which also reduce their fat level accumulated in their ‘sitting job’.

Human resource development and personality development have scope to improve the confidence level of emerging graduates/freshers since no openings for them. So self development firm can conduct interview training, interpersonal skills, etc. to keep them engaged.

During recession or economic crisis government may initiate major construction projects. So civil engineers , contractors, mason labors have good job opportunity.

Collection Executive jobs will have more openings in recession. Many who took loan before recession can not repay the EMI, so more collection executives will be deployed to dodge loan/credit card defaulters to get the money.

Recession will create a restlessness, confusion among people. This may be headache to ruling government of developed nations. So to divert the people’s attention from recession, developed countries may engage in war with weaker countries. So there may job openings in military and weapon related industry.

News papers and publishing medium have permanent headline or topic to scream called recession. Reporters will collection information and statistics about global recession all over the world and keep the public panic. There may be small job opening in journalism or more if developed countries start the war.

Spiritual Gurus or corporate Gurus and their missionaries and assistants will be busy dealing with depressed people, giving solace and hope for a better tomorrow. Good opening is always in the spiritual sector.

Heart Attacks False Belief and Hypothesis

Sugar, Blood Pressure and Heart Attacks. Which is the worst disease? Can diet and exercise prevent them? Are they genetically induced?

The above three are not induced by external bacteria or virus. They are body’s by products from our diet and depending upon the metabolic rate of our body. Metabolic rate varies from individual to individual.

There are various belief system or hypothesis prevailing in the society about heart attack.

Avoid eating oily foods to prevent Blood Pressure and cholesterol. It is really true? I am not sure and nobody gives guarantee for that. You consult a doctor, ask him a written guarantee as you will not have Blood Pressure Or cholesterol or heart diseases if you avoid oily foods. OK, include meat in the avoiding list. You become vegetarian.

Now consult a doctor and ask a written guarantee from him as you will not have sugar, BP, and heart diseases. Doctor will not give a written guarantee.

Because, he can not also give a written guarantee as people eat oily foods, meat must have sugar, BP, and heart diseases.

In reality there is no rule that eating oily foods, meat, and a heavy diet should bring sugar, BP, heart diseases.

In the same way, there is no rule that avoiding oily foods, meat, and a heavy diet should not bring sugar, BP, heart diseases..

Got it?

There are various hypothesis about foods and its effect in body.

The impact of food over body varies from individual to individual depending upon the metabolic rate.

Eating rice will bring Sugar, so eat Chappati(wheat). Eating Chappati will increase your body weight. So you will have Blood Pressure. Anyway you will have Sugar or Blood Pressure even though you avoid Rice or eat rice.

Skipping break fast will bring heart attack. Drinking hot water reduce cholesterol level.

Is it a scientific fact or hypothesis?

If a disease is genetically programmed to you by birth, what is the role of food in bringing the disease. If Sugar is genetically programmed, irrespective of you eat rice-sweet items or don’t, you will be a Sugar patient sooner or later.

If you cholesterol is secreted by your body which is programmed genetically, damn sure you will die by heart attack even you avoid meat and oily foods.

The role of Gene and Diet in bringing the disease is still a mystery, so leading to countless hypothesis and belief and ‘sayings’.

I like bajji (Capsium and onion) very much, but because of the fear of Blood Pressure, fat, cholesterol and heart attack I avoid eating it. There are list of foods I avoid because of the fear of disease and death irrespective of my likings.

I am not sure if Bajji brings the disease or I am genetically programmed.

I walk nearly four to five kilo meters a day to avoid disease. You must know it is painful to walk everyday when you are walking because of the fear of disease rather than you like to walk.

Walking for the sake of interest and walking for the sake of disease are totally different.

Act by fear and Act by like – both have drastic different. I feel walking by fear of disease brings other sort of disease psychologically or physically. It is better to stop walking out of fear, which may land you up on some other misery or mystery.

Walking can prevent the killer diseases or it can not prevent the killer diseases. I am not sure. I feel believing anything is a hypothesis. Because it works for somebody and does not work for others.

What works for me may not work for my brother or sister or friend. But what I do is if anything works out for me I started creating a new hypothesis and spread it. Rest of the people blindly follow it.

If a doctor cures your disease you immediately start recommending everybody to that doctor. But there is no guarantee that he can cure all.

When I look into the ‘sayings’, practices, prevention tactics, diet controls and etc to avoid Sugar, Blood Pressure, and Heart Attack, I feel the whole humanity is living by hypothesis. Life is full of hypothesis.

Heart Attack is not a disease. It is a call. Call to bid farewell to this world. It is better to die by heart attack within minutes rather suffering for years and years in Sugar and Blood Pressure.

Even many saints and yogis ‘leave this world’ by heart attack, because it is quick and easy.

Preventing Sugar, Blood Pressure, Heart Attack is not going to stop you from Death. It is a fact not hypothesis.

Whether you follow diet control, exercise, regular checkup with doctor all may help you prevent the killer diseases, but you can not escape from Death. You may not die by sugar, bp or heart attack, but you will be die by some other disease or by accident.

The worst disease is ‘Health Conscious’, not Sugar or Blood Pressure or Heart disease.

‘Health Conscious’ prohibits you from eating what you like to eat and doing what you like to do. It forces you to eat what you do not like to eat and do what you do not like to do.

Health conscious people do exercise, maintain their diet to avoid Sugar, Blood Pressure, and cholesterol.

By having too much health conscious some people avoid those diseases but bring uncurable mental disease called fear.

Fear of disease, fear of death itself a psychological disease.

Coltan

Right now everybody has Coltan in their hand, pocket, and bags. It is kept close to human chest and head.

Coltan at micro level mingles with everybody in the Age of Semi Conductors.

Coltan is a hard ore used in high performance semi conductors as capacitors to control the current flow. It is notable for its high heat resistance.

Coltan is widely used in mobile phone and hand held devices industry. It is used in Laptops and IPODs too.

There is a sudden demand for Coltan since 2000 due to expanding mobile phone market.

Awareness of Coltan and its impact in Globe especially in Central Africa is not known to common man who use mobile phones. It’s awareness is at the techie level.

Common man should have the awareness of Coltan and its appliances and its impact to humanity and environment.

A Century back Coal and Fossil fuels were unearthed. Now we face the nemesis. Now Coltan is unearthed, who is going to face its nemesis in the future.

Chaos Theory can be understood from using mobile phones.

Are you using mobile phone? If yes, You are killing Gorillas. You force many people in central Africa to be a smugglers, slave labors, and miners. Many boys are driven to work in mines because you are using mobile phones.

Can you believe it? Yes, it is true. Every mobile phone users are causing civil war among the African Nations Congo, Rwandan, Uganda and Burundi. This is chaos theory. Your mobile phone craze is creating war in Central Asia. Hand digged central African mines are exploited for you.

Here is how the chaos Theory worked out with Mobile phone users:

Mobile phone needs a hard mineral called Tantalum. Tantalum is the industrial name. This Tantalum or tantalite is mainly mined in Congo a African Country. The original name of Tantalite in Congo is COLTAN.

Coltan has the higher heat resistance. It is used as capacitors in high performance semi conductors. It is used/needed in high performance circuit boards of hand held widgets. Coltan used to control the current flow in circuit boards of the mobile phones. Without Coltan or tantalite mobile phones may not have such a high performance. Or there is no alternative to coltan is found so far. Your mobile phones circuit board uses Coltan or tantalite to control the current flow.

To make a mobile phone Coltan is needed. Coltan is mined in Congo forest areas. No need to say how much demand is for Coltan in this Age of Semi Conductor. Like Gold Rush in California in mid 18th century, now a Coltan rush in Congo.

So Congo forest are ‘cleared’ for mining Coltan. The main area where Coltan is mined, also contains the Kahuzi Biega National Park, home of the Mountain Gorilla. No need to say what will happen to wild animals when deforestation done. You can understand that the count of Gorilla is getting reduced. Soon, mountain Gorillas in Congo will be listed in Endangered species (might be already listed).

Because of the high price and demand people started smuggling the Coltan from the Congo miners and sell it for high cost. Rwandan, Uganda and Burundi are selling Coltan even though they do not have Coltan mines. Coltan war and Coltan smuggling are happening at the borders of Congo,Rwandan, Uganda and Burundi.

Due to the rapid expanding mobile industry, there is a greedy demand for Coltan which resulted in emergence of Coltan Mines Labours. Coltan mines labor includes all age group of people. Like pressure on Indian software developers, Coltan miners are under constant pressure to dig more and more.

When you receive a call, attend a call, send sms, receive sms, listen to songs, watch videos and photos in your mobile phone or other hand held devices, please aware of the consequences of your action which impacting other part of the globe.

You and we are part of chaos Theory. Every call we make at the cost of disturbing the Gorillas life, some body smuggles and some body engage in war and some body works days and night in mines.

Human personification and attitude towards life is related with its time and age. Human moral values are changing according to time and age. What was valuable in two hundred years back, is now neglected, what will be neglected in two hundred years is the center of attraction now.

Joint family was worshiped by generation before the last generation. But nowadays joint family is considered as foolish system. Society accepts the individual selfishness. Tradition and culture are keep changing along with time and age. Both language and civilization are not the exception from changing.

Everything is changing without giving trace for the deserted. How a youth can know about his grandfather’s life style. How to know about tradition, civilization, and moral values of our ancestors. No museum is portraying the life style of past generations.

But, literature portrays everything. Literature is a mirror of its time of creation. The characters depicted in the literature are the sample pieces of real human beings of its time. To get the unique features and common manners of a society at a particular time, going through the characters and society depicted by the literature of the time is enough.

The character and theme for the literature are taken from the real life characters and society of its time.

If you want to know about sixteenth century, study the sixteenth century literature. Do you like to know the impact of British rule in India or India’s attitude towards British rule. Study the literature of particular time.

In the world history, we can not find such a rapid changes in eighteenth and nineteenth century, in other centuries. Those two countries is a period of transition.

Literature of these two countries clearly revealed everything. The joint family system began to loss its value. A new class of people, called middle class are emerged in great number. They are mostly hypocritic.

Literature at the time of two world wars showed the complete denigration of old tradition and morals.

The novels like ‘Mrs.Dalloway, The spire,The Anglo-Saxen Attitude’ are tool to get the clear picture of psychological changes in people.

Works of T.S.Eliot, Bernard Shaw show the corroded pattern of their society. American literature gives the reason for their domestic failure, disappearance of family system, no value for love and religion.

If we go through the literature from the very beginning to current, We can find out the unnecessary changes in the role of human in society, in the name of development.

Wrong Lifestyle Causes Blood Pressure

Blood Pressure due to Wrong Life Style

Human Blood pressure is 120/80. Many people in the world are suffering from high blood pressure. These are many reasons for blood pressure. I like to discuss here the biggest and major reason called LIFE STYLE. Life style stimulated blood pressure cannot be cured by medicine.

BP is not a disease. It is an abnormal state of body. Consistent exposure to tense situation or working without taking rest, are all leading to rise in blood pressure. Tense, fear, stress are part of life. We get tense by some incident for a while soon we will back to normal mood. But continuous exposure to tense situation, make the tense as permanent stage of body.

For example when you go to your office lately. 9’o clock office you reach by 9.45 or after, when you are going to the first time, you don’t get tense and nobody makes the issue big. If you go often your superior will shout at you. Then whenever you start lately to your office, you get tense. If you continuously go to your office then every morning will become tensed morning. Even when you start early still you feel tense. Thing is subconsciously you have programmed your body to get tense in the morning. This lead to rise in BP level.

Whatever medicine you take, your blood pressure will not come down to normal. This can come down only after you change your attitude towards office going. If you start going early to office, you feel relaxed and normal within one or two months.

People going to office lately are prone to BP in later ages.

Many wrong attitude tends to rise in BP. People who hurry, burry for anything and everything, people who do not plan and work, instead of makes thing mess up, people who always criticize others. People who are not able to accept others as they are, people who are working long hours without rest/change, people who do not have proper sleep are all subject to rise in BP. For these kind of persons changing their attitude is the only medicine.

Obsessive thinking are also prone to BP.

If you are a boss and your subordinates are not obeying you and you are not able to fire them and this is consistently existing, you are prone to get high blood pressure. Be satisfied at obedient and reliable subordinate than intelligent sub-ordinate who never obeys you. When I was leading a team of programmers, I had this issue. I have to implement a ‘office politics’ to get those ‘guys’ out of my team. After recruiting fresher or obedient people I feel comfortable. Hope God forgive me for that.

Attitude, relationship management, self and people management are playing more role than food behavior to rise BP.

If your body weight is normal your BMI(body mass index)is perfect, but you have BP then it is due to one or more reason explained in the above paragraphs. Because I had all such attitude, and my BP raised little bit of the age 30. My BMI was perfect. Doctors gave only sleeping medicine. BP goes down to normal when I am taking sleeping tablets, prescribed by Doctors. Once I stopped the tablet my Blood Pressure raised little bit. I changed doctors . Thank God, One of the doctor advised me it is my change in lifestyle can set right my blood pressure.

I analyzed my Daily life. I went to office late in all days. Tension in all morning. My working hours was long an average 14 hours per day(software). Everyday was the deadline and lot of tension and fear in my office. I thought of learning yoga for relaxation, but I didn’t have time to practice yoga.

Then I changed my office where my working hour is 8 to 10 per day. No tension . I changed my home nearer to my office. No long travel and no late goings. I start to spend more time with my family. I played with my kid, chat with friends, visit relative homes.

I changed my life style. No more fault finder. Accepted peoples as they are. Started the habit of walking long whenever I have the time. Magic happens, of course it is not a magic. My Blood Pressure come down to normal level.

I had the medical records for the rise in my BP and for normal too. Nowadays I received offers from other companies with increased pay. All are far away from my home, must have long travel everyday. May lead to Late Reporting. But I denied all and I will deny all as long as my present company gives a life style with a sense well being.

I will be happy, if any one in the world is benefited by reading this information. If anyone is aware of impact of life style on our health by reading this article, I feel pleased. Blood Pressure is not the only problem stimulated by life style. There are many mind and body problems due to wrong life style. We consult doctors take medicine, spend money but no cure. If we have the awareness of lifestyle then we can cure it. Or even we can avoid it.

Aquarium and Peace of Mind

People believe Aquarium can bring peace of mind. It keeps blood pressure at normal level, avoids heart decease, reduce stress. Is there any scientific proof for ‘medical attributes’ of Aquarium?

My hobby was aquarium. I kept lot of color fishes. My favorite is betta (we called it is ‘fighter’ in my city). I keep Gold fish, Moly family and cuppies. During my school days, I spent great deal of time with my fishes. Fighting tournament for betta, mating demonstration of betta, live view of moly and cuppy kid’s birth are sensational moments in my aquarium life.

Till I caught red hand by career, one of my favorite past time is Aquarium. I did not have time for aquarium activity after wards. Soon I have tension and stress related problems. I decided to re-setup my fish tank.

After coming from office, I spent time with my fishes. Within in a week all my tension mood disappeared. I felt a positive difference.

But, tension and stress erupted in my home after two weeks from I set up fish tank. My wife wanted me to spend time with the family. We have a kid. But I spent my time with fishes. This created a tension in my family.

Whenever I sit in front of my fish tank, I received ‘heavy firing’ from my wife. She started getting tense when I site in front of my fish tank and escalated her tension over to me.

Later, Aquarium became the source of my tension and stress.

How can we believe Aquarium give peace, reduce tension and stress? Because, it gave tension and stress to me.

What is true about aquarium? Both are true.

Aquarium has colorful fishes moving here and there. They get our attention quickly. While watching them, out thoughts about problems, tensions, family and office issues and etc are stopped slowly without our effort. Our mind is filled with fishes. Thoughts of fish do not give tension or stress. Some time it takes us to tranquility.

It is not the Aquarium, which gives peace of mind. It is the thoughts in our head gives peace or tension. Aquarium stimulate or change our thought pattern. It fills our head with the mood which gives peace or do not give tension.

So thoughts or mood stimulated by Aquarium can give peace of mind.

If we are able to change or keep your thought always cool and happy in all the situations, we do not need Aquarium to be relaxed.

Instead of Aquarium, I started spending my time with my family. Play with my kid. Have happy day dreams, remember happy moments in my life. Fill my head with happy thoughts.

Now I do not need Aquarium to have peace of mind.

Kite Meditation

If you want to meditate without effort or practice, please take a kite and fly it. What saints and yogis doing after several years of practice, which you will perform when flying a kite.

During my boyhood, one of my sport activity is ‘kite flying’. Kite flying is not a recognized sport, so I can term it as my hobby.

During evenings and holidays, I spent time in flying kite. Blowing air sufficient speed is needed to fly kite. From October onwards it is a good season to fly kite.

Many parents object their kids for flying kite. Many think it is a dirty act, which will spoil education. Many of my friends were hiding their kite from their parents. Me too. I have never seen any girl kid flying kite in my city. It seems to be a Boys hobby.

After reaching college, I stopped flying kite. Shifting house often too stopped me from kite. Once I caught up by evil hands of career, I forgot Kite from my life.

Now I am a busy software engineer in India. Whole world knows, how stressful it is in India. How much time on Indian software engineer spending per day for his work.

Recently I got three days leave(holiday) for Diwali festival.

I was spending time in my apartment terrace. Suddenly I noticed a rope was running across my terrace. I grabbed it immediately like a reflex. I rolled it. The length of the rope might be nearly half mile. At the end of the rope there was a kite knitted. This kite might be set free after loosing a ‘deal’ with another kite.

Anyway, I was so happy to get a kite with rope. My boyhood memories about kite flying re-blossomed. I decided to fly the kite.

But few negative thoughts raised hesitation to fly the kite now.

I am a software engineer now. Leading 5 to 10 programmers. I am married having a kid. I am leading a upper middle class living standard. Is it a manner or etiquette for a man with such social position to fly kite like a ‘boy’. Many ‘respectable’ people will have a evening walking in my terrace. What they might think when I will be busy with kite. Moreover, kite flying is an activity for boys from lower and lower middle class society. In my apartment video games is the right choice for boys.

So my social and self image and the area/society where I am living give me hesitation to fly kite. Everything in my thoughts, but nobody conveys me orally as ‘do not fly kite’. But my imagination and thoughts goes in such way.

I realized, I have to overcome my ‘self’ first then the society. I decided whatever shame come to me I have to fly kite. I decided to do what like to do rather than what I suppose to do. Never worry about others opinion. Even my wife laughed at me when I invite her to ‘kite flying’. Later she enjoyed it. She regularly joins with me for flying kite.

After 15 years, I fly the kite. Without any difficulty ‘my grabbed’ kite takes off. It raises and settle down quickly in the sky. My hands and fingers still remember the skills/dexterity required to fly kite. I let out 70% my rope I have. My kite goes high, it becomes tiny dot.

During kite flying, my only focus is kite. Eyes fixed at kite and keep watching it. My eye vision has a long distance focus, which is short distance always by starring at monitor. Now it is a change.

My mind stops thinking, wandering, and worrying. My conscious released from time, space, and ‘self’. It slips into tranquility. Eyes fixed at kite, hands maintaining the rope. That’s all. I do not feel anything other than rope and kite. I become empty. The overall mood I get while flying kite is absolutely similar to the mood after meditation but without any effort.

It is a great relaxation and change from my regular life.

Are you a busy professional? Do not know how to relax in your free time other than going to bar. Learn kite flying. You will enjoy it and may attain tranquility without doing meditation.

Bright Sun Shine Without Heat

Sun rays are not equally distributed in all the parts of the world. Only ‘Equatorial line’ which is running across the earth have abundance of sun rays. Moreover, different seasons have their ration in distributing sun rays. Summer gives more and winter gives less.

I like the Bright Sun rays without heat.

Sun rays is bright at noon, but it is very hot to bear. Sun rays at pre-evening time from 3pm to 6pm is a wonder. In this time, Sun rays are bright but not hot. They are neither hot or cold. The sky is clear and clean from clouds. Above your head vast blue blanket. This is ideal time for playing. This evening sun rays are free of cost. It is nature’s gift and it is precious.

If you are living in an apartment, go to your open terrace. Spend time there in the evenings. If you have small mountain near by your dwelling, claim it. You can have a different view. Birds flying below to you. Your eye vision can stretch out to few miles away. This is good to your eyes.

I like to spend time in my apartments terrace under sun rays without hot. It makes me happy and sometime leading to tranquility.
