Personal Notes

20/9/2026

Today it rained in the late evening.
I did not cover my Bullet with bike cover.

Last week I got the brand new
Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Std. I purchased bike cover from showroom. But I am not obsessed to cover my Bullet.

I consistently, perseveringly, and always covered my Pulsar NS160. I covered Dominar too always, either it rained or not. I was so obsessed, haunted with bike cover during NS160 and Dominar’s periods.

I never covered my earlier bikes…
Suzuki Samurai, CT100, Discover, Discover 150F, Shine 125… I never cared these bikes from rain and hot sun. But due to my biking madness, not passion, but madness, I covered NS160 and Dominar. I was always conscious of covering NS160 and Dominar always. Once the engine
got cooled, I applied bike cover immediately.

After a year without bikes, I purchased Bullet. In this gap, my biking madness cured or subsided somewhat. While purchasing the Bullet, I have decided not to apply bike cover. Let the Bullet endure rain and hot sun. I should not be obsessed with Bullet care.

Moreover, my body was very tired since last week. I did not know the reason for my tiredness. I am tired. I
do not have the obsession to ride Bullet. I may not ride Bullet like I rode NS160 and Dominar. I am not interested and do not have temptation to ride Bullet.

There is no compulsion to ride Bullet like I had for Pulsar NS160
and Dominar. No obsession, compulsion, temptation and appetite to ride Bullet. Bullet is the excellent bike, which suits my riding style 100%. It is a perfect match for me. But I lost the spirit or my madness, obsession for bikes got cured. I don’t know. Even if Bullet stays in parking lot without much usage, I will not regret.

I do not have enthusiasm to ride.
My body is tired. I do not know what happened to me. I am 51. Am I aging? At this age have I married a young lady(bullet)?
