Anchors to be happy and stable

Anchor, to be happy, stable we achor ourself with worldly objects like job, home, land, gold, money, bank balance, car, bike automobiles. Jewels, sarees, dresses, relationships, children, son, daughter, education, reputation, toys, etc.

We will be happy and stable if we possess any of the things which we assume to be happy or proud or prestigious or secure or the purpose of our life. If we lose them or are not able to possess them, we feel our life is a failure, we lost, we broke. If we loose our achor, we feel we are worthless. Our self-esteem goes down.

Life always disturb our anchors. We panic and be restless whenever we are about to lose our anchors.

Our mind always hooks with some worldly objects. Nature of mind is to hold something to be happy and stable.


Mind collapses when it’s hook is cut or it’s anchorage is disengaged.


We are ready to struggle to any extreme to stay anchored.


Anchoring is not wrong, it is the nature of mind. But it leads to suffering, pain in life. We can not escape from anchoring.

Even saints, yogis, spiritual person are anchoring. They achor with spirituality, divine, God. They keep trying to experience something which does not exist.


As long as you live in this earth, you achor with something, whoever you may be. You may be a child, old person, man, woman, family man, saint, educated, uneducated, rich, poor, beautiful, ugly, healthy, sick… whatever you may be, you achor with this and that and suffer due to your anchoring throughout your life.
