Snake Guard Kootu - Recipe
This is a different way of making kootu which will come out very delicious. Normally we will put only Green Gram Dhall to make this dish. But in this way of cooking we put toor and urud dhall which is very healthy and tasty also. Ingredients For the paste Urud Dhal - 2-3 tsp Pour Oil in a Pan, put Urud Dhal, Red Chillies, Cumin Seeds and grated cocunut. Once this is sauted well, make it as a paste and keep seperately. Pour Oil in a pan, splutter Mustard,add salt, then put snake guard, add one pinch of turmeric powder and allow it to boil by adding required water. Then add the boiled and mashed tour dhal. Allow all these to nicely boil. Again pour oil, add mustard, red chillies and curry leaves and pour on the koothu. Thats all, its ready. Related Articles |
