Age of Saree may be 5000 years old. In the epic Mahabaratha saree plays an important role. Brother of Dhuriyodhanan strips off the Saree of Draupathi and Lord Krishna protects her from stripped off completely. It is the crucial scene in Mahabaratha which let to the war.

Modern world has variety of women's wear. Nothing can compete with Saree when woman decides to stage her beauty exhibitionism.
