Children are more susceptible to mental strain than adults. The reason is that child cannot express their feelings openly through emotion. Whereas adults give vent to their feeling in the way of talk.

A child who is above average in the study often fall a prey in the absence of true love from its parents. Such mental depression is reflected in their studies besides affecting the mental peace, such mentally depressed child even abstain from their classes and spend their time as they wish. Like this condition worsen. Their efforts to satisfy their parents fail.

The true reason for such mental depression is not at all their fault. The main reason for that condition is the Absence of Real Affection from his parents. Often parents do not understand the reason. They resort to scold or harsh treatment. This is a wrong approach such treatment is often the reason for the desperate action of the child either to run away or fall in bad company who are waiting to catch them.

Parents should carefully watch such children and afford ample safeguard by showing real love and sympathy. Such treatment would go along way to keep the peace and harmony. Even if the father has no time to spare, mother should watch such unnatural behavior of her child and should some time to spend with her child, please with true love and make the child feel at home.

Such mental behavior is accommodated by a boy than a girl. Girl very sensitive by nature react quickly of and any degradation in her performance in academic studies could make her upset whereas a boy could easy brush away such fall in standard in studies.

A girl who used to get above 80% if gets less she get upset whereas a boy who usually get below average gets pleased on getting a mark beyond his expectation. Such is the mental condition.

Parents have to deal very carefully in such condition. They have to show real affection and love to their children. Even if the parents do not find time to spare due to their occupation and social circumstances in the interest of 'Family Welfare' they should snatch sometime to spend with their children whose future prospects lie with the parents.
