Bisibela bath recipe

This is little bit different from the usual way of preparing bisibela bath. This tastes very good as all the spices are grinded freshly and added.

Rice - 1 cup

Thoor Dhal - 1 Cup

Capsicum

Brinjal

Potato

Green Peas

Carrot

Boil rice and Thoor Dhall nicely and keep aside

Ingredeints for the paste

oil,

red chilly

Corriander Seeds ( Thaniya )

Green Gram Dhal

Poppy Seeds

Pattai Lavangam

Fenugreek Seeds (Vendhayum)

Asofoetida (perungaya thool)

Grated cocunut

Saute all the above in oil by adding one by one and make it as a fine paste.

Dry Masala - grind it dry

pottu kadala - 2 tsp

Poppy Seeds - 1 tsp

grated cocunut - 1 tsp

Saute all the above and make it as a dry powder

Then Pour Oil, add red chilly, mustard, Cumin Seeds ( Seeragam ), urud dhal, bengal gram, small onion, Curry Leaves, Brinjal, carrot, peas, capsicum, turmeric, tamarind paste one by one and allow to boil nicely. Then add the grinded paste and dry paste and allow to boil again for few minutes. Then add boiled rice and dhal and mix thoroughly and serve.
